Some public events taking place in London:

Mar. 9, 2010, 8 - 10pm

King's College (in the Wemple Building's Wemple Lounge Extension)

There will be a film screening of the documentary Flow . This award winning movie investigates the world water crisis, and asks the important question, "CAN ANYONE REALLY OWN WATER?" Whether you are against bottled water or you don't understand why bottled water is such a big deal, this is a must see film! There will be time for a discussion afterwards.

King's College (in the Wemple Building cafeteria)

There will be information and fun educational activities about the environmental, health, social and economic consequences of bottled water. There will also be a chance to win your very own stainless steel King's water bottle!

Bottled Water Free Day is a joint initiative of the Canadian Federation of Students, the Sierra Youth Coalition and the Polaris Institute. 

 

This event is not being hosted by Friends of the Coves Subwatershed but is being promoted
as an event of potential interest to residents of the Coves Subwatershed.
