Keep Christmas trees out of our landfill
Recycle your
Christmas Trees/Wreaths/Garlands
If you put your holiday greenery at the curb with your household garbage it will either be taken to the landfill or left at the curb.
Depots will be open next week to collect holiday greenery including trees, wreaths and garlands. Material collected at the depots will be chipped and used as mulch that will naturally rebuild soils and feed plants.
Please remove all tinsel, metal, string and bags when dropping off material to protect the workers and equipment that process the material
The following six depots will be open from January 2 to January 8:
South
Amway Global - Exeter Road, west end of front parking lot
Mitches Park - Upper Queens Avenue parking lot
East
Stronach Park - parking lot on Beckworth Avenue
West

Central
St. Julien Works Yard - south end of St. Julien Street
North
